        CIA (our portal for e-commerce) uses the utilitarian "Cardmember Services" for Visa/Mastercard order processing.  Their job is to protect the consumer (YOOZ) & merchants (UZ) from an e-commerce nastiness.  Their vigilance is to be applauded, however - they do not quite comprehend what we are attempting to accomplish with JS3C.  All memberships submitted thus far, using CIA on-line with Visa/Mastercard are accepted & being processed immediately.  Most of you shall receive your goods this week, the rest of you - next week.  Unfortunately (but not really), future memberships shall NOT be processed by credit card - but by check or money order only for $105.00.($108.25 for California residents $8.25 sales Tax) ($100.00 membership $5.00 shipping & Handling) .  International orders, please add $10.00.  All payments must be in U.S. funds. The value of your membership shall greatly exceed the fee. 

IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT THESE ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.  YOU KNOW (SOME OF ) WHAT YOU'RE GETTING FOR YOUR HARD EARNED BUKLETS ... Cartographers will receive a package similar to last years which was a signed first edition of Paul's serialized "PERRO" novel & a much coveted, much mythologized 3 CD set of PERRO 1970-1, PERRO 1983 & "Baron Von Tollbooth" out takes. These CDs shall NOT be available at CIA ... in stores ... nor ANYWHERE except through The Society. We shall also hold two special  'get togethers' with Paul, Marty & the band - one on the East Coast, one on the West Coast ***Shipping fee is one time only.
