GET READY

by  REBECCA INEZ BOCKELIE  age 8

I AM THE WIND

I AM THE RAIN

I AM THE LIGHTNING

I AM THE THUNDER

I AM THE STORM ITSELF

I AM THE VOLCANO’S SMOKE AND FIRE

I AM THE EARTH’S BEATING HEART

I AM THE OCEAN TIDE

I AM THE BILLIONS OF PEOPLE TOGETHER

                              PUSHING IN ONE DIRECTION

I AM THE CHANGE THAT’S COMING

I AM A NEW DAY

I AM THE UNFOLDING FLOWERS

NO ONE CAN STOP ME

READY OR NOT

HERE I COME !!!

“The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long, plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs.

There’s also a negative side.”

THE THREE ODDEST WORDS

by Wistlawa Szymborska

When I pronounce the word Future

The first syllable already belongs to the past.

When I pronounce the word Silence

I destroy it.

When I pronounce the word Nothing

I make something no nonbeing can hold
